These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and FermentFolio LLC (“FermentFolio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). FermentFolio LLC operates the FermentFolio website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
FermentFolio is a tool for managing and tracking liquid fermentations such as beer, kombucha, and mead. The Platform lets users record fermentation processes and use integrated AI features to ask questions based on their fermentation history and database.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 21 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for activity that occurs through your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Your data and content
You may add fermentation records, notes, photos, and other content to your account. You represent that you have the right to submit that content and grant FermentFolio the limited license needed to host, process, and display it in order to provide the service.
5. AI features
AI features are intended to assist with fermentation-related questions. They are not professional advice, and FermentFolio does not guarantee the accuracy or applicability of generated information. AI features are powered by OpenAI; see our Privacy Notice for more detail.
6. Paid plans
Paid-plan prices and included features are displayed on our Pricing page before checkout. Where available, recurring subscriptions may be cancelled at any time and remain active through the end of the current billing period. Our Refund Policy explains eligibility for the 30-day first-purchase guarantee.
7. User conduct
You may use the service only for lawful purposes. Do not upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes another person’s rights. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable law.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Platform is provided “as is” and without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service, or that branded vessel data, yeast specifications, or AI-generated information is complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FermentFolio LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Platform.
9. Changes and termination
FermentFolio LLC may modify these Terms from time to time and will post an updated date when we do. We may suspend or terminate accounts as permitted by law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
