This Privacy Notice explains how FermentFolio LLC (“FermentFolio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit our website or use the FermentFolio application and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

Information we collect

We collect the account information you provide, including your username and email address. We also store the fermentation records, vessel information, notes, images, and other content you choose to add to your notebook. If you contact support, we receive the information included in your message.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure your account, provide the notebook and public-page features, respond to support requests, maintain and improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.

Public sharing

Your fermentation notebook is private by default. Information appears on a public page only when you enable public-page data and choose content for public display. You control the public display name separately from your account username.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate FermentFolio. Email verification and password-reset messages are delivered through SendGrid. When you choose to use Brewru or scan-import features, the relevant prompt, selected notebook context, or uploaded material is sent to OpenAI to provide that feature. If paid plans are offered, Paddle will handle payment information as merchant of record; FermentFolio does not receive your full payment-card number.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and notebook information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and enforce agreements. You may contact us to request account deletion or to ask about information associated with your account.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Age requirement

The Platform is intended only for people age 21 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21.
